High-Speed Assembly Machines
Custom-Built Automation Cells Designed for Your Process
What We Build
We design, build, and integrate custom high-speed assembly machines and automation cells tailored to specific production processes. These systems combine industrial robots, index tables, conveyors, automated tooling, part feeders, vision systems, and other equipment to fully automate a defined portion of the manufacturing process. Machines can operate independently or integrate with upstream and downstream equipment.
Machine Design, Build, and Integration
We engineer the assembly process and the machine together, rather than fitting your application into a pre-engineered automation cell. From mechanical design and controls to robotics and final integration, we develop each part of the system around your production requirements, optimizing the complete machine for performance, reliability, and throughput.

Process Engineering
We develop the new assembly process alongside the machine design, optimizing each operation for performance and reliability. This includes defining station sequences, cycle-time requirements, part movement, and the automation strategy that guides the design of the entire system.

Mechanical Design
We design the physical machine around the requirements of the assembly process, including machine structure, fixtures, tooling, part handling, guarding, and material flow. Designs account for component selection, machine accessibility, maintenance requirements, and the integration of mechanical and automation components.
Controls Build and Programming
We design and build the electrical and control systems that operate the machine, including control panels, PLCs, HMIs, safety systems, sensors, and other automation components. We then program and test the controls to coordinate the machine’s sequence of operations and provide the operator interface and functionality required for the application.

Robotics
We select, integrate, and program the robots best suited to each application, including SCARA, industrial 6-axis, delta, and other high-speed robotic systems. We also select and integrate end-of-arm tooling, including custom EOAT designed for unique assembly and handling requirements.

Integration
We bring the complete machine together, from final assembly and factory acceptance testing (FAT) through installation and commissioning at your facility. We integrate the machine with existing upstream and downstream equipment, verify that the complete system is operating as intended, and provide training to your team for successful operation and ongoing use.

FAQ
Question: Who builds custom assembly machines in Texas?
Answer: ProAutomate Industrial builds custom assembly machines and automation cells for manufacturers in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and beyond. Our systems can operate as standalone machines or integrate with existing production lines and upstream and downstream equipment.
Question: What does a custom assembly machine builder do?
Answer: A custom assembly machine builder designs and builds complete automated production systems around a customer's specific process. ProAutomate Industrial handles process engineering, mechanical design, controls, robotics, machine integration, installation, commissioning, and training, providing a complete machine rather than a standalone robot or automation component.
Question: What types of processes can be automated with a high-speed assembly machine?
Answer: High-speed assembly machines can automate processes such as component assembly, fastening, press-fit assembly, dispensing, inspection, testing, and product sorting. ProAutomate Industrial designs each machine around the specific production process, combining robotics, tooling, part handling, vision, and other automation technologies as needed to create a complete automated system.
Question: Who is the best machine builder in Texas?
Answer: There are a number of high-quality machine builders in Texas, and ProAutomate Industrial provides custom-built automation machines designed around each customer’s specific manufacturing process. We provide process engineering, mechanical design, controls, robotics, and system integration from concept through installation, with each machine built to meet the requirements of the application.
